its just a post but to me it really changes a person and I want to be part of that process.

because Hall Olympiad Closing Ceremony is coming up, there's dance prac almost everyday.

I love dance, but sometimes I just wish there's more time for me to study.

its 5am and I have to wake up in 3 hours time.

Crazy, but I keep telling myself I'm strong enough to take it.

So many things to do, so little time.

Its hard to smile when there's so little so smile for.

Just this period, too much troubles. Concerns. Ambitions.

first we're all fine and friends and all, then suddenly its like im invisible or sth.

I dont know what the heck you heard or what I did but it MAKES NO SENSE.

instead of finding out anything or hear my side of view (in which I assume you heard things for which i dunno what), you judge me

and that's after being my friend for so long.

Doesnt feel like it though, just felt very neutral and relaxed. Can't believe time passed just like this.

so many things happened.

anyway, even though I absolutely dreaaaaaded going back to school, I must say it feels real good being around with friends and laughing at lame jokes. makes school so much less boring.

Sprained my ankle while walking down the stairs few days ago, thought two steps is one step.

what a way to start school right, ahahha.

but its getting better already, last night it hurt so much I could barely walk. :(

luckily it wasnt that serious or else I wouldn't be able to attend all my dance practices!

Had a public performance outside ngee ann city recently.

we performed kpop songs such as hoot hello jumping and a remix of famous korean songs.

can't even begin to describe how hard we tried to practice.

cramming sessions the whole week! rushing to and fro, and for me it was really really tiring but I enjoyed the whole experience.

I think it sounds sick in a way (haha) but being able to have this vision of doing well and make yrself proud, makes me very happy.

it also made me realise how much I love dancing. :)

I'm typing all these with a sense of skepticism cause I know blogger kinda hates me and have this tendency to just un-save everything I want to post. I DUNNO WHY

hahaha.

note to self: you're in a (relatively) good place right now. some things may not go as planned, but they will work out. somehow. don't procrastinate. keep moving ahead. and stop having suppers anymore I mean it.

All's not well. not the very least. and blogger sucks, my whole long post before this got deleted for no reason at all. as if I will have the patience or even the time to type everything out again.

sometimes I just want to watch him dance the whole day and forget about all the shit thoughts that's on my mind right now.

not used to being like this. but gonna keep it to myself to see how long I can bear. or overcome it.

cause honestly, nobody's gonna be there for you anyway.

P.S on a lighter note, I finally conquered Lucifer!!!! the dance choreography (as evidently seen above) is real challenging and manly so I had to channel my inner manliness. hahahaha but I had a fun time learning it, like how I felt for my other dances too. :) can't wait for the next one!

Just came back from a game of darts, carom, chess and HTHT.

guess this is part of what hall life is about, making friends and having fun!

really thankful for the people around me and the course I'm taking.

still struggling to find my way around campus tho, and I keep forgetting where each canteens are.

haha there are too many readings to do but lectures have been fine.

2 dinner&dances coming up soon, plus a block supper, an OG bbq, meatballs session etc.

busy beeeeeeeeeee!

PLUS the many activities I wanna join (heheheh im in this cat management society where I feed cats living near my hall every once a week. hahahahaha shan says it suits me. LOL)

yes I admit, I have a poor memory. I can't, for the life of me, remember anyone's birthday, even my closest friends'.
Not because I don't want to but I just can't (plus there's always facebook and phone calander to remind me so...hahaha. okay sorry no excuses)
So here I am, trying to collect my thoughts on that five days where I attended the WKWSCI Freshman Orientation Camp 2010, because I fear that as I grow older, my memory will begin to fail me....
I used to blog about life events in excruciating details and accompany emotions (where the hell did I find all that patience??) just to ramble on and on as though people actually wanna read. (haha)
I know its been awhile but still, I wanna take some time to describe that amazing five days experience, because I know its hard to recapture the feeling that I had and how it changed me. :)

I remembered I was late on the very first day and had to awkwardly wait at the mrt station with other freshies (now that I recall I was surrounded by Cosmos and JagerBombs, only 1 Mojito freshie with me, Shi Ting!!!).
Oh in all randomness, I hated green. Sorry.
haha I've never had a good feeling bout green cause it just looks well, ugly to me.
So my first thought when I was told to bring something green to wear cause my OG theme colour is green, I was not very happy.
But now its my absolute favourite colour and I wear my green mojito watch with me almost everywhere!!!! hahaha

so anyway, there was nothing much on the first day.
The usual awkwardness of getting to know each other through station games, the effortless (haha im kidding) attempt at learning the front part of the mass dance (Give Up The Funk by Glee! kurt is damn awesome), and the raggedness we felt carrying all that barang barang to sentosa.

I had my first try at the Circle of Trust that very night. Shi ting, Joyce and I were wide awake chatting while waiting for December (YOU.OWE.US.) to finish bathing and join us for a mid night rendezvous (hahaha I kid) at 7 Eleven.
But since he was waaay late, we were led away by a senior who brought us to the middle of the camp site and had us sit in a circle with a few people we don't know.
They introduced the COT hand sign, and had one senior start talking bout her personal life and relationship while another senior kept firing questions like 'when did you guys started dating?' 'how did you guys know each other?' 'who added who on msn first?' etc etc.
By then I think 15mins have passed and I was beginning to feel slightly annoyed, together with ST and Joyce. I dont know, I guess we just weren't comfortable sharing our personal lives so readily with people we didn't know. All in the name of this 'circle of trust' thing.
(but don't get me wrong, the second night doing the COT with our Mojitons was cool, at least we all knew each other and it felt really much more comfortable. :) )
So anw we made an excuse before our turn came and left (haha sorry seniors!).
Chatted till late at 7 Eleven before we finally went to sleeeeep :)

Second day consists of cheers, games, cheers, and more cheers!
I adore our cheer, its freaking catchy and amazing can!
haha! we were all pretty much immersed in the outdoorsy atmosphere, the sand sun and water everywhere.
Each and every one of us tried hard to earn points for Mojito, and we gave our best at every game!
I love how we fed off each other's energy and spirit, I think it kind of bonds us as in a way, slowly but surely, through every cheer, every Hoistup! Hoistup! Hoistup! we did. :)

We had a fashion walkoff and Willy was looking down the row to see if anyone would volunteer (yeah if he/she's not in the right mind that is haha) to be our Mojito guinea pig, I mean, model!
sorry to confess this but I was the one who got Terence sabo-ed by pointing enthusiastically towards his direction when Willy was looking.
hahaha but I shld get credit cause TERENCE DID AN AWESOME SEX BOMBING JOB!
its like the whole dress-up unleashed his inner bimbo or himbo whatever you call it, and MIMBO was formed!
Oh that strut down the runway, that seductive pose and that swift tossing of his shades to reveal the meticulously-drawn eyeliner around his eyes accentuating a feminity we never noticed he had....
hahahaha please, he so deserved that champion title!
we were all screaming our lungs out (I was alr starting to lose my voice and its only day2!!)
haha it was just plain crazy wild and hot (hot hot qi lai)!

We spent the night at Changi chalet, trying out the new games we learnt (neh neh you!) late into the night. I brought cards and was playing Heart Attack Pig Version with fellow 1st,2nd,3rd level pigs.
Our desperate attempts to get Alan and Daryl to transform from Humans to Pigs like us failed miserably.
Those who don't understand this game and what i'm talking about can come ask me, we can play tgt some time! hahaha
Anyway I witnessed Sneha getting real good at MaoZhuaLaoShu so i'm proud of you babe! HAHA

We had Amazing Race. 4th place to the very 1st.
that feeling when it sank in.
just simply mind blowing, no one expected it even as we overtook kamekazi during the lunch break.
I think we were already contented to be placed 2nd or 3rd, just not 1st cause thats like a freaking miracle, and we did it! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
thats when I felt Mojito was really special :) SO DAMN PROUD OF US REALLY.
they shld give us an award for that alone lah srsly. hahaha

Land games aside, we got thrashed quite badly during the water challenges in Ntu swimming complex. I DONT KNOW WHY we kept losing at the tug of war!!!!
haha but we soon catched up at the Mahjong game, ever keeping that competitive streak :)
The lengths we go to, just for that ONE ice cream stick... hahaha awesome!

and of course there's the RSVP skit that we discussed and planned so thoroughly before assigning the roles and acting it out several times just to get it right.
and once again our effort paid off and we won the BEST SKIT that night, along with UHEM UHEM, BEST OG OF COURSE!!!!!!! :D
The You Are My Sunshine part which we dedicated to the Ogls, Agls and SAs was almost spontaneous (we didnt practice whatsoever beforehand) and so I mean it when I say it really came from our hearts. :)
It was truly sincere and heartfelt gratitude we wanted to express that night, and maybe that's why some of us teared when we saw you guys cried almost immediately when we started singing. what we've been through together and what you all did for us, touched us madly and will remain deeply in our hearts. thank you. :)

and yes what will also be etched in our hearts are the two little 'surprises' you guys painstakingly planned for us looong time ago (thanks ah), just to make sure it worked.
don't worry, it sure did.
haha and I believe we're glad for it, seriously. It made the whole camp so damn memorable and unique.

Shit can we please go back in time or into Inception so that we can relieve that five days again??
haha.

I've finished season 1 and it isnt as good as desperatehousewives or gossipgirl FOR SURE

but i like it cause its different? instead of feeding on really dirty scandals or evil schemes there seems to always be an underlying good wholesome message sent across after each scene, mostly through the songs. which are not performed in a cheesy way, most of the time. haha

the show's lacking in witty lines tho, but still good, somehow.

haha anyway its gonna premiere soon! and i'm kinda excited cuz everytime the commercial comes up my bro and I recognizes the lines and the characters so we'd just look amazed and think its so cool.

but I can assure its really not anything like HSM (except both male leads are cute, but zac efron is hotter. ;) )

I've stopped working in my childcare a while ago now

and sighs, its incredibly upsetting.

I love the kids there and I've become more sensitive to their character, eating and sleeping habits, temper, mood, feelings..

its just hard to say goodbye.

I dunno how long will they remember me after that but I hope its not so soon :(

ABSOLUTELY CANNOT TOLERATE SUCH BEHAVIOR BUT YET I STUPIDLY TOLERATE IT.
why is it SO FREAKING HARD to say a simple THANK YOU????????
URGH I get so pissed.
whether you're a stranger, friend, or close friend, manners are still important right?
you dont go 'eh blah blah blah' or 'you blah blah' when you send me a msg without a 'hey' or 'fel' or sth! cause its just so rude.
and when I do something apparently small and insignificant and expected as a friend for you, yes I would very much appreciate a thank you in return. it bugs me EVERY SINGLE TIME someone doesnt say it.
and I just keep quiet cuz I'm not gonna be all 'hey you're supposed to thank me' and stuff like that. I always have a feeling that the person is gonna follow up with a sarcastic 'okaay, THANK YOUUUU. are you happy now? hahaha' as though pacifying me.
that feeling sucks.

another week of work tmr.. get to see the little ones again. hahaha

there's the twins yan hao&yan bin who are adorable with their bowl haircut but spoiled enough to disobey me and shout 'DA BIAN!' for fun on repeat several times just to annoy.

there's also wesley, who looks abit mixed and has big cute eyes sure to dazzle millions of girls when he grows up. MUST GET HIS NUMBER. hahahahaha

there's little toddler jing hang, who cries over little random things just for fun or a hug, and smiles himself silly the next instant. needs to be patted to sleep, which is a task we feel super accomplished if completed! haha

and there's many many others with so many personalities we feel compelled to tame them all! HAHA. prolly with stickers, chops, or just by drawing a little star at their palm.

still have lots to learn, hope by this week my voice recovers!!!!

its really bad for a long time now and I'm really upset by it.

at a childcare centre, today was my first day!

today I walked past a basketball court and saw two little kiddies playing, one small and one more round the edges.

apparently the chubbier one could'nt catch the ball and started yelling indignantly 'CB KNN!' or whatever other curse words I presume follow after I left.

I spent my birthday working.
it was kinda depressing but the second day of work wasnt bad. :)
Its a Timbre Rock&Roots 2days event and entrance fee is like 178bucks I think?!?
Crazy right, I see lottttsa of ang mohs there.. like 90% of the entire crowd.
hahaha I was basically doing nothing on the first day (sounds good being paid like that but it was way too boring I wanted to cry) and was a cashier for the first time on the second day!
Cashiering is fun, and it was better at an event like this where you can hear bands after bands perform live and eat free food and ice-cream.... hahaha if only that was my full-time job!

jo shan fio came to surprise me at 12midnight with their homemade cake!!

hahaha finally! I can catch him singing LIVE tmr night!

really excited, cant.wait!!!!!

I still remember the first ever concert I've been to, and it left me kind of floating (not being dramatic) when it ended.

haha I was walking out of course but at the same time it seemed to me like I'm floating, totally in some sort of ecstasy. my mind's in whirls and stomach have butterflies. I think I was still in Sec 1 or 2 then.

I like theatre performances and concerts. Some think watching a concert dvd is enough but the atmosphere, the effects, the lightings, the whole performance, is so different from just sitting there watching the television screen.

your body tensing up before the performance starts, screaming like a deranged baboon (HAHA) when he/she whose songs got you through good/bad times appears, singing along and swaying to the music, all the way thinking how close you are to this normal human being who just happens to have an amazing voice and captivating presence enough to make you idolise and worship like a silly fan.... It is actually kinda surreal

its gonna be a long day tommorrow so imma try to get some sleep.

I think I know why I'm feeling like this now (hard to explain except that its a vry SIAN feeling) but I'm gonna do my best to ignore it like how I always do and hope it goes away soon.

Been soo busy with work

from making 70+ calls a day and booking 0 appointments to making 200+ calls and 5 (depends on luck) appointments!
the thing I learnt most in this line, hard work dont pay off.
I can sit there and call all I want (and get rejected countless times) but might only get 1, 2 appointments a day? shitass borrrrring~
hahaha
and I think I know all the diff types of waiting dialtones people have already
some are seriously damn childish (one kept going 'yeah yeah~ oooh oooh~ which is quite sick HAHA), and some are quite rockin' baby! haha almost didnt want them to pick up the call
anyway rude clients are a sure thing, and I can more or less deal with it (although some f words are tempting to say to them) haha
sometimes I get so tired I kinda nod off while the 'ring ring' goes off in my ears and I wake up only when I hear a Hello? by which I then smoothly and steadily read out my lines!
HAHA i am the pro !
anyway im glad I dont have to do this alone and friends like fio and shan are with me or else I think I wld have slammed down the phone spewing vulgarities and walked out long ago.
hahaah and I made new friends tooo
we went with ralph/lppl/willie's lookalike to catch Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief tgt!
the movie was abit kiddy for me but ovarall was not bad ;) yes the dude's cute but thats all
haha at one point i even started to doze off not cause the show's boring but I was just too tired.
made prank calls to people! so fun HAHA best part of the day (and also lunch cause we can slack!!)

happy birthday everyone!

Well according to chinese traditions, today is Ren Ri or Human Day, so.

should've bought myself a cake (and presents and flowers) as an excuse! hahaha

okay maybe that's pretty sad, but I did celebrate in a way by going to this awesomeeeeee flea at Sentosa! Wavehourse~ wooo hooo

Me Jo Shan Shine took the monorial and I got into a flurry of excitement after taking a lil sneak peek of Universal Studios interior!

omggggggg I am so eager to indulge myself in the world of imagination! dreams! fantasy! chimera! HAHAHA okay not exactly true, but still, you get the idea.

anyway, the flea was pretty big and I got my first experience of the waveboard thingy ride with man-made waves, i think i can find a picture..

HAHA so fine there was no first experience, but im sure a professional talented wakeboarder lies inside me somewhere...

the flea was pretty big, and we went to visit ennoi's stall, which she set up with her friend.
bought a top there, and got a free dress thanks to seow ennoi! hehehehe happy~ thanks babe!

AND i got good steals from other stalls too. seriously sastified! love fleas!

shan and jo had to leave, so I went for dinner at Hong Kong Kim Gary (had lunch there too) with shine. their curry baked rice/spaghetti and spicy noodles's yums! :)

shared medium cup yougurt with generous toppings, played UNO and I won! hahaha

btw yougurt = pure goodness in a cup!!!! LOVES

shine went home first, and I took the train back with fio ennoi and her friends.

it was funny, we had a little flea shopping in the train when fiona and I decided to ransack their bags and source for the leftover flea clothes and good buys!

hahaha we even tried them on, so i bet Stomp's gonna have a field day tmrw...

can you believe it ALL the best/front row seats are taken for BOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

urghhhhh very upset now!

but yea at least this eliminates the dilemma of whether to choose the front row seats or the second best ones which are of course cheaper.

haha and if i buy the front row seats for both concerts I'll totally end up bankrupt.

Went Prawning/ Catching Jhinga Fishes (which is Prawn in Hindi. hahaha)!

was fiona tan's birthdaaaaay so we all went to celebrate by prawning first then nice dinner at Seoul Garden :)
Both's first time for me, nv caught a jhinga fish before and have never eaten at Seoul Garden.
hahaha noob.
but anyway it was quite fun lar, caught around... lemme count... 10 or 20 prawns? not sure also
hhahahahaha act pro actually only caught ONE. :(
rented the fishing rod for only 2 hours and many times I felt tugs at my string but when I pulled it up the prawn is gone and if im unluckily, my bait's gone too....
hahahhaa sad case lar. prawns there too clever already. except for the one which I caught, the idiot prawn.
hahahaha I am not evil at all ok, cht is the evil one cause she tried to smack the prawn on the pillar.
abusive actions like that signals disaster for her future husband.
HAHAHAHA
basically everyone caught arnd 1 to 2 prawns, the rest of the prawns were either given by the shop owner or the expert uncles sitting near us catching a prawn every 10 minutes or sth.
hahahaha they are like the real pros and there we were sitting next to them and screaming whenever someone caught or almost caught a prawn.
hahahaha but screaming's more fun!
didnt dare to eat the prawns leh cuz when I see them being grilled I felt quite bad.
haha I dunno la its just that I will think of them suffering and felt abit nasty.
but I'll still eat prawns from like restaurants and stuff but maybe not those that were caught by ourselves. HAHA cause prawns are still quite yummy

sat there in acjc's badminton court hall for approx 3-4 hours can!
10 sections to do altogether, when I reached section 7 I wna die alr.
hahaha. but the whole paper was manageable, except for my essay:(
actually thought I wld score for it but they tested on some inventions and great discoveries stuff and I totally blanked.
haha but whatver its over! at least the other sections were okay, can score (I hope) :)

went with fiona and shining for a little shopping and then lunch!
fiona had this crappy dish while shine and mine's pretty appetizing. HAHA
so she kept complaining (as usual) hahaha
saw Syvia Ratonal at Illuma! she was singing on stage but we didnt really paid much attention to her (GO TABBY GOOOOOOO!) hahahhaha
the arcade was soooooooo fun, we played this mario racer thing. and I ended by being this weird female cartoon princessy character with blonde hair called Peach, shining is Mario and Fiona is Yoshi.

sometimes I really wonder why I try so hard and think so much.
why can't I be like those people who are happy-go-lucky and stuff looking like they have no worries in the world.
instead I complicate things, try to perfect them when obviously its not gonna be.
I wanna be happy. and I hate getting hurt be it by friends etc but it seems like thats pretty hard to avoid.
I think I expect too much. that explains it, the disappointment. the higher the expectation the greater the disappointment right?
whatever. not gonna brood around it. not used to typing so much emo crapshit on my blog, really.

anywayy, today was fun but tiring! working with little kids really do make me feel quite happy, cause I really like their smiles. haha but omggg they're SO energetic I dunno where all that stamina comes from! Shan and I went to try the Children Bouncer ourselves after work ended. One round and we're dead. HAHA. really noob, panting all the way. should've seen us, bouncing like little kids and screaming. hahahahaha we are still young! (stupid adult fare)

anw its good to earn some money, even if only a day... desperately finding for jobs! but not with like 5 per hr pay tho. haha ya lar I expect higher. 6 or 7 would be fine! 10 would be best. HAHA what! I had like 10/hr pay when I was working in UWC kay. shiok! but they have no vacancies now.

Since its the new year...

I resolve to blog more regularly and not abandoned my blog which had withstand many long and dark periods with me!

and I dont care if no one reads (maybe except my STALKERS you all just got lucky!! HAHA okay fine fine)!

so anywaaaay, I shall start by elaborating on my day. which is pretty mundane and meaningless but still! It is a good start.

welllll I woke up earlier than usual (by that I mean 7plus AM rather than the usual 2pm. WHAT! sleeping in is pure bliss okay!) to visit my grandma and have breakfast with my dad

and afterwards I went to meet Fiona for lunch at vivo. except in the end we drank two free Starbucks and ate a free bread+bacon+egg meal. HEHE happy cuz they're freeeeeeee

Sherilyn the betrayer of Eywa *kneels* was working so me and fiona the devotees sat in Starbucks and discuss in great lengths how awesome Eywa *kneels* is.

and then we went to this pet shop and I saw a freaking baby dinosaur!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OKAY fine.

so i went in and was immediately drawn to this cute lil MINIATURE SCHNAUZER!

omgggg it has been my dream dog ever since I was younger to have one like that and when I saw it my heart totally melted.

the pet shop assistant then offered to take the dog out for me to carry (EXPLODING WITH HAPPINESS BY THEN)

and the cute lil thing went trembling in my arms all frail and sweet and furry....

The movie 'concert' was REALLY good and I was practically shouting and clapping after every
song MJ delivered..He.was.simply.awesome.
its a wonderful tribute, and it showed him as how he was.. talented, humble, perfectionist.etc
ting en teared, I teared and I heard weijie teared too. HAHA
and when the whole show ended some people (it was almost full house) stayed and just watched the credits roll and snippets of him showing up.. I love it, wanna watch it again:)

I hate being treated like an idiot, obviously I know what's going on.
but strangely enough I think it is easier to let go than the last time/times since the whole outsider feeling is gone. well, almost. but thing that bothers me is that sometimes facades are so strong that it can really obscure a person's judgment. the pretense, the mask, the phony, all of that just looks too real.

I did my best. I put in effort, but I really am tired of pretending. It is just too hard and frankly speaking I did nothing to deserve this. so i'm simply gonna drop it, not mad, just tired and couldn't care less.

I'm in the midst of watching ANTM Season 10 on youtube and its now left with top 5 contestants!!!!! hahahaha yes i know I should be studying, but ANTM is just soooo good:) as good as desperate housewives, which I am compelled to say to ignorant ppl, is NOT a sex show thankyouvrymuch.:) alright gotta go do my lit pc now, bye :)

we emerged champion for the artifect-making inter-class compeitition with our award-winning tree! hahahahha what a big and (a little)unimaginable surprise. :) I was so shocked when they announced our class and jo and the rest were just cheering like mad! gestured tommy (thanks to his genius idea, our super wishing tree was borne!) to come up on stage with me but he didnt want to! took group shots later and even had 1 minute( more like 1 sec) of silence standing around the tree appreciating our efforts before hazim made some noise. just like always. hahaha. we had so much fun doing it, and its times like this that I feel the class's as one:) it's great, I love my class:D (awwww)

If I were to write this post one week ago I wouldn't have got past the first few lines, without crying so badly.

Admittedly, the news of his passing did not bothered, much less saddened me because my impression of him was vague and as a child I wasn;t exposed to any of this songs or videos, just news from the press every now and then. Till a few days after his death. I went on Youtube and before I knew it I was clicking videos after videos, watching and in awe of this man who not only served to entertain, but strived to serve the community with his enormous heart. And as I watched on and knew more, so much more about what he've been through his life, emotions started pouring in. And when I least expected it, tears started to come. I was never his fan, but now I regret not being one. It is not just one of those idol craze or whatever no, it was true sincere admiration for his works and humanitarianism that touched me, that made me look upon him as a role model.

Its hard to believe that since the media had portrayed him as some wacko freak, paedophile, child molester..etc. but may I say, BULLSHIT. he is none of that sort. Other than being the greatest entertainer of the time and coming up with the most original dance moves that many stars tried hard (but pale in comparison in my opinion) to imitate, Micheal Jackson shares the love he has, especially to children, to people around him. He was a philanthropist, donating millions of dollars to the record 39 charities he supported, and raising more through his own Heal the World Foundation. He built NeverLand Ranch, complete with amusement parks, fun rides, a place where children dreamed of going for fun and laughter. From young, Michael Jackson had a childhood very different from others, where had to perform at a very young age. When he made mistakes, his father used to beat him, and not only with a belt.

To make up for his lost childhood, Michael had always adored children and he himself is somehow like a child trapped in an adult body (watch his documentary, ignore the stupid bastard interviewer who was plain bias and selfish to see that such a nature still exists in a man so great he just had to bring him down. shall not waste time elaborating on this backstabbing ass because he's simply not worth it. If you're interested, watch the documentary Living with Michael Jackson on youtube. I could'nt get past to the last few parts because I got so fed up with his narrow-mindedness and ignorance that I closed the window). So back to the point. Michael Jackson brought orphans to NeverLand, where they play freely in the theme parks and find joy and laughter, which he himself derive more than anyone else' from the happy looks on their faces. Children were invited for sleepovers at his place, because it was safe, secure. But when news of him being a child paedophile arose after being charged by one of the kids who slept in his room, he ended up paying millions of dollars aside from being publicly humiliated and disgraced. because he did nothing disgraceful of that sort. because a few years later the kid owned up that it was his parents who made him to do, succumbed to the temptation of money, something which Micheal Jackson do not lacked. The father was tape-recorded discussing his intention to pursue charges, where he said, "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever ... Michael's career will be over". It was painful. Yet Michael still persisted, years later, in bringing less fortunate children to NeverLand, because that was more important to him. Even though the pain and hurt he had gone through had probably never healed. His strength is one of the reasons why I admire him so much.

Then there was another incident, this time of him 'dangling' his baby over the window. 'omg he's crazy he wants to throw the baby down!!!!' maybe that's what it seemed like on tv and on papers, but what they didn't show is the crowd of fans below the hotel he's staying, yelling his name and wanting to also see his baby. So Michael showed them his baby, his hands wrapped under his baby's arms so tight and pulled him back as fast as he could. But what did the viewers see? A slowed-down version of him apparently dangling his baby in mid-air like a bad father. Its ignorance if people believed he was going to actually throw his own baby down the building. And at that time, I was one of the ignorant ones. I remembered looking at the pictures on some gossip magazine and felt slightly freaked out. But now I realise how much he loved his children, and how hard he tried to protect them from the media. And again, all these negative press and biasness probably was too overwhelming....how much pain can a person take? we would never know because we're not him, its hard to understand. But maybe all these people will leave him alone now, since he's already gone.

I bought The Essential Michael Jackson cd, a compilation of hit songs by him. My dad and I watched his concerts and performances and music videos and we were more than in awe, in fact I think thats an understatement. Newfound respect and admiration for the man who was so creative and original, who dared to do things not commonly seen, creating dance steps while he sang at those times when most singers just stood there and sung. He thought of challenging and exciting music videos where people had never seen the injection of extra footage to create a kind of story. And not to mention those crazy vocals, coordinated dance moves, the famous moonwalk (I never get tired of it) and this amazing 45degree tilt he does which simply blows my mind away. It was all his signature style, the gloves, the crotch-grabbing whatever. Every single performance was done in class and so much more. He was an inspiration to people over the world, different races, and especially to African-Americans. He was an icon and also their pride.

I can rattle on and on because there's too many things about him that are truly inspiring and simply awesome but sometimes words just cant fully express it. And yes maybe I do seem a little bias but this is what I truly feel. My only regret is that I have and will never get the chance to attend one of his mind-blowing concerts and be one of those lucky fans who felt the presence of Michael Jackson, the most successful entertainer of all time, the King Of Pop.

I remembered someone said something like this during the memorial, 'Even though we need him here, but I guess God needed him more'. Even though we miss him so much, Heaven is probably the place he needs to be, away from any pain, suffering or cruelty. (rhymes!) He has already achieved so much and left behind a wonderful legecy that will pass down to generations after generations.

pre-u sem just ended!!! MAJOR RELIEF. it was pretty overwhelming what with all the hassle the school went through the whole of last year and these few months to ensure things go smoothly!

Being an encee for Parallel Presentation for 3 days was quite an experience! my co-emcee's vanessa and I remembered how jittery we were on the first day. didnt really forgot the lines but were quite taken aback during the question-and-answer session.. 2nd day got a lil bit better and for the last day I felt we did the best! :) all I can say that i do treasure the experience, and I love pre-u sem! but as compared to last year, my expectations were kinda majorly crushed this year. okay nvm no use harping on it..

BUT I DO MISS BEING A PARTICIPANT ALOT!! esp. my loy fatt seminar group...

YUP! so many wonderful memories:) hopefully the participants this year enjoyed it as much as I do too!

YES we watched Hannah Montana the Movie. I was in a very neutral and kinda oblivious state when i agreed to watch it with her, since its her birthday after all, then when the movie ends it suddenly dawned onto me that I just watched a Hannah Montana movie! and I started disbelieving myself. HAHA. okok I still gotta say, it wasnt as bad/childish/lame as I thought. In fact I think its quite funny at parts and not to mention miley cyrus's love interest IS HOT. hahahaha. plus the songs are pretty catchy too, but im really not too crazy over the dance. ennoi knows the moves cause she practises them secretly at home even tho she claims she doesnt. HAHAHA kidding!

civics lesson today was a JOKE.

sex education(what's new!) and we ended up being grouped to do skits with specified secenarios.
after getting saboed countlessly and a weird twist of fate, I ended up with eric and shan with zaky! and the scene if I remembered right, indicates the male wanting to kiss the female but ended up getting rejected.

so I was chilling out with fellow 11dians at Starlite Cafe one week before the block tests (which last paper happens to end on my birthday) when these guys totally surprised me with a cake!
hahaha it was really a shock cause it was like super early lar but thank you guys! the fruit cake was mmmm delicious! :D

ytd was my birthday and I went out for dinner with jo shan shining tommy william and eric! actually it was supposed to be a celebratory after-block-tests dinner with the class but due to unforeseen circumstances it didnt turn out that way but its okay because we still had a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha yes I am finally updating!

one week of block tests and there were....urgh forget it. Just glad the're finally over and I can now look forward to catch The Importance of Being Earnest at Drama Centre Theatre tmr! :)

h1 lit students have to go cuz we're reading the prose for lit and its so exciting that Wild Rice has chosen an all-male cast to offer new insights into this production and omg chua enlai is starring as Gwendolen Fairfax and Hossan Leong as Miss Prism! hahaha this is gonna be good, I cant wait!

and then after that I'm meeting up for dinner with mingli and jm both whom I haven't seen for a loooong time so there's much to catch up on! :D

I went there only to find fans everywhre dominating corner of the mall and even outside so was really proud the moment I retrieve the entry card (which jo kindly helped me queue overnight to get:D) from wei jie, flashed it to the security guard and joined the guys inside the barrier and near the stage by the second row! as compared to someone who had to squeeze with the crowd on the third (or as it forth again?) floor just to catch a glimpse of their heads and backs and butts. HAHAHAHA HELLO BIG FAN! yes i know im mean to keep rubbing it in but cant help it hahahhha :D

starting from allllllllllllllllllllllllll the way back when we had bio spa observing snails in Teletubies Hill!

hahahaha so yes I am blogging at last, school life is really that hectic and bio chem spas are major headaches. but here's a BIG THANKYOU to jo and shining for trying (numerous times) to keep me awake during lectures, even though their method is different-one likes to shove me real hard and the other prefers to tap me gently. HAHA. either way, I am appreciative because it is DAMN HARD not to doze off. Shan is excluded because she is, expectably, my fellow dozer partner too. :D

by the way The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button is great fun! I love thinking about all the scenes and what they mean, trying to look at it at different perspectives like how we do during literature. (haha lit is so interesting right now, but yet I still do not score) And it doesnt hurt to see Brad Pitt, whom is looking so damn sexy ! hahaha! One of my favourite parts was seeing him OLD AND WRINKLY AND SHORT WHEN HE'S ONLY 7 YEARS OLD. haha no seriously he looks adorable! how do they make him look SO SHORT??? I am baffled! then there is this part where he looks like a teen pop idol of 17. OMGGGGG SO HOT. hahahaha. go see the trailer or sth. TCCOBB is a must-watch!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

so because I have trunkloads of pictures and homework at the same time and my eye circles are showing no signs of disappearing, I have decided that I shall post up ALLLLL the fun and wacky and scandalous pictures AFTER my block test! haha then I will have enough time to sit on my butt the whole day blogging and explaining each event in excruiciating detail rather than rush through it now.

But I was at the other corner of the front row(DAMN!!!) so it was quite hard to get near to him as he started giving away the flowers one by one. it was starting to get real depressing what with only two bouquets of flowers left in his arms and all hope slowly slipped away..........and yet whatda you know!

omgggg its so unnerving to know what will happen tomorrow!
you know I keep playing this supposed scene in my mind when he appears on stage
and I try to stifle a scream and keep from looking like this moronic fan all excited and everything because its a play after all, and so I'm supposed to remain all calm and composed.
hahaha but but how can I man! I've idolised this guy since forever okay! its a very terrifying feeling to be within touching distance of him! (in a good way of course):D

ahhh seriously I AM SO DAMN EXCITED I CANT BELIEVE IT IS JUST TMR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hahahaha at least I know I have two other girls who are positively feeling the same way and are sharing this strong joy and anticipation of mine for tmr!!!! :D at least its comforting to know I have company in the task of screaming our heads off and going absolutely crazy. hahahaha!

I was in charge of promoting NMA in La Vita Nuova, where pieces of artworks by our cca members were displayed..bringing the kids(HAHA) around to explain each of the artworks to them. The place's actually really quite cool and quite classy, but too bad the school see no need to open it up to us on school days so that we can chill(there's a comfortable sofa plus air-con!!!!)..hmphf!

This is a repeititive video of an elderly man playing chess with himself, projected on the wall. It portrays the problem of the ageing population in S'pore and that while they were once leading S'pore ahead in the race they are now being abandoned by the country. How many of us actually take notice of such a sight when we walk past our block of flats or do we just dismiss it because its none of our business? (haha yes i had to say that for quite a number of times)

Showcasing works from photography society.. its about the relationship between Time and Man, how time flows by so quickly that we can do absolutely nothing about it, how its an irony we try to control time thinking we can escape from it but we can't..I had the most trouble explaining this work because the further explanation is so cheem lor. hahaha, so mostly I just stop interpreting to them at the above. haha!

Titled 'GroundBreakers', as you can see, this piece is about groundbreakers like Issac Newton(who who sat under an apple tree when an apple fell on his head and he suddenly thought and suggested the Universal Law of Gravitation), and also Albert Einstein(who created the mathematical formula E=mc^2), and other famous men leading to numerous discoveries and inventions. So this work highlights the risks of the generation of youths today losing this knowledge of history and theories behind such formulas as we blindly memorise them when our teachers dish them out in rigid lessons. (hahaha woo I sound so GPish right nw)

Basically this piece is about our school values-D'PICK! MEANING DIVERSITY PASSION INTEGRITY COMPASSION KNOWLEDGE! :D The artist uses the sound waves(yes, sound waves when we speak each word out loud)and painted them in a tapestry, combining all together and you get D'PICK, the INNOVIAN SPIRIT! hahahaha quite cool doncha think!

Joe Cheng is not just looks! He's talented, and he gives thoughtful and interesting answers during interviews unlike some other celebs who just wants to be funny. and also, he has a ridiculous sense of humour and laughs uncontrollably in an unglam and unhandsomely way when he finds something funny! which is also another reason why I like him. he's real! (btw omg the latestissue of UzhouKan featured him and ariel lim as cover! HAHA YES HOT!) So......THE BOTTOMLINE IS, AS I'VE SAID A MILLION AND ONE TIMES, I.CANT.WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

these were from some while back..they miraculously appeared under the 'my pictures' folder one day. Have no idea where they came from, they do look very much like me and my two other best friends..but we would never do such a thing. totally absurd! I am so baffled.

one thing I really dislike is when people try to put others down.
like all they care about is themselves. and they just cant stand praising others because it either makes them embarrassed, or feel jealous if others feel good. no matter how hard you try to be a good friend, you just dont understand why you end up the one being teased, insulted, feeling worthless.
you compliment her outfit, her new bag blah blah, and lets her go on and on about them.
but when the day ends you realise, she did not once mentioned about your bag, which happens to be new too, and she never once asks you how your day was, what you did during the weekends. because to her, only herself seemed more important a subject. and it hurts because you dont understand the point of being a better friend when she isn't appreciating you at all. yet you try your very best to appreciate her as your good friend, really you do.

guess things will work out someday, like they always do. :)

I never regret joining CLDDS (no matter how cheena it sounds. and the loserish part isnt true, its all that stupid bias principal's fault) because I love the people there and I had so much fun playing and acting with them. :)

2008 has been one hell of a year man, and I am prepared(not)for more challenges ahead!!!
hahaha okay crap.

Christmas was very nice. :) Miss Lice and Miss Mouse(HAHAHA) came over the day before and we had a movie marathon, followed by a little studying(its the guilt) and nail-polishing and shameless phototaking. hahaha! and then we had a very full Ajisen lunch the next day, plus big slices of logcake, then proceeded on to play some shiok mahjong and sang some good old chinese songs. :D oh ya and not to forget the nice pressies!!! hahaha thank you dears!
at night I went to have dinner with my relatives..the food was good(sambal kangkang makes me very happy) and my baby cousin said my temporary tatoo is cool. HAHA. okay she didnt exactly say that cause her vocab range have'nt included words like 'cool' yet but she did nod her head when I asked her! lols. ahh she's so cute!! and I am not an ah lian. :D

anyway, I went to Desaru some while back and I got a kick out of playing with the waves. which are like 5TIMES bigger than spore's pathetic ones!!!! haha and there're huge rocks which I climbed on and found small hermit crabs and live clam shells. LOL. got a small cut on my finger as a result of me acting tough but it was still fun, it would be better if I could canoe!! haha have'nt been able to done that since OBS so I kinda miss it..but maybe because the tide's too high or something we were'nt allowed to kayak. oh well. another time then!

Did quite a lot of slacking these past few weeks man. I watched You Dont Mess With The Zohan (yes i know its long time ago!) and laughed like hell (that show is sick), and then I watched Mama Mia(here I go again, my my, how can I resist you!), followed by HanCock(Will Smith!!!). all I can say is, my hols hmk is starting to rust. :(

didnt enter Ripley's Believe It or Not this time cause I already did so last year.
and I remembered there was this mirror which naive victims like me and my brother started making some weird facial expression at and turns out other people can see you from the other side embarrassing yourself! HAHA. but actually other than that,I can only remember the other stuff were either weird or freaky. Displaying stuff like vampire-nabbing tools (I know you think thats cool because of Twilight and Robert Pattinson!)..and also real human hair? haha.

this guy's must really need the cash.

he was on display outside Ripley's and he had to keep saying stuff like 'hey whats happening' or something like that I think while people stare blankly at him or snap photos. Some guy even proudly announced to his friends that he knew its all fake and the illusion has gotta do with mirrors. like duh, then real meh.

thats not fish or glitter or whatsorts but actually coins! people treat the pond like some wishing well or sth.

haha very noob ride compared to the previous picture. It is INCREDIBLY slooooooow, goes one big round around the theme park with breaks in-between for us to 'admire the scenery' I guess. But turns out its some technical glitch..no wonder, I thought what was so nice to admire about trees and grass everywhere when it stopped halfway..

we did see Energizer! tho. :D

I think I must be getting old! because I actually felt kinda dizzy after this ride but I didnt felt like that the last time! :(

its not a rollar coaster cause it just goes zig-zags, but its really fast and exciting! my brother complained that it hurt his butt. HAHAHA.

I was really excited when I saw 'Chocolate Factory' cause it wasnt there the last time I came and I thought there will be free yummy chocolate everywhere for me to eat like those children did in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory(Johnny Depp rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)where there are huge chocolate trees and long-flowing smooth nice-smelling chocolate fountain! ahh its heaven.... and apparently 'Chocolate Factory' is not.

at all.

there goes my fantasy. who cares about fake colourful mushrooms?? I try to look happy for the camera! can you feel my pain?? hahahaha.

this rollar coaster ride has an apt name.

hahaha okay I have no idea how the name came about. (like thats what'll happen if a dude rides it?) LOL then lucky for me!

the few seconds before the rush of adrenaline! My dad and I thought everyone will be rushing to take the front seats but turns out no one dared to! hahaha so we happily obliged.

I know it looks scary and all, but seriously? it kinda sucks.

haha there wasnt really any steep slides and the whole being turn 360degrees upside down happened too fast to feel any overwhelming emotion. which is what you're suppose to feel when you ride rollar coasters right? right.

its like the coolest thing in genting! I forget how many times I sat this already but my heart still pump like hell whenever im on it. esp. when I get to the top and all I see is clouds and maybe buildings and all I can feel is myself in mid-air with minimal support. Freak out 100%. Thrill also 100%!!! :D

the view from above. yup we went Go Kart too! I've always had a fear that I'll clash into the stacked tires when I make a turn or when I park my kart but THANK GOODNESS none of that happened!

so genting was fun, despite almost dying from secondhand smoke!

please Santa, dont let me suffer from the horrible effects in the future like a sudden heart disease or brain tumour or something!

And please make those inconsiderate smokers disappear so next year if I go I dont have to try so hard to avoid sniffing a whiff of nicotine every few minutes

But other than that everything's quite good, I almost got the chance to fly even!

but too bad we came too late, where its already fully booked. :(
