oops have I really been talking about Modern Dance too much?
LOL.

I actually wanted to talk about M&M now, which of course leads to Modern Dance, again!
haha.. and CLDDS too.
But by the way, M&M was fabulous.
Okay maybe not in the audience point of view, but from performer's point of view.
Shamelessly speaking, I LIKE MY GOTHIC LOOK!
hahaha.. Okay maybe it's not really suitable for me cuz I kept on laughing the whole night, which spoils the whole gothic image.
hahah..but it's really something I haven experimented before and it looks really amusing!
hahah.. Will post up some pictures tomorrow when I chat about my Music & Movement experience.
=D
-
For now...
Shall start on my trip to Malaysia Desaru!
I reached home close to midnight after the M&M with my parents who came to watch me.
Then I had to sleep because directly, the next day I had to set off for Malaysia!
So I had no time to blog, or to go online.
It's a 2 days 1 night stay in Desaru, where I have been a lot of times alr.
Accompanying me and my family are all my cousins and their families.
Quite a large group.
-
During the first day, we basically spent the day on the beach and the swimming pool.
It was low tide, so it wasn't very exciting.
But still, the waters are so much better than Singapore's I must say.
At night, we rushed to see the fireflies after paying for a 30 minutes boat trip.
It was an awesome and impression-lasting experience!
The fireflies, which only appeared when water was being splashed towards the trees, were so enchanting!!!
They lighted up the trees and totally complimented the stars in the nightsky, all sparkly and bright.
The stars are amazing, there were SO MANY of them I just felt so liberated and carefree.
hahaa..
NO comparison to Singapore's nightsky at all.
Love the whole thing.
(:
Oh ya I remember Cinny mentioning the fireflies thing to me before.
And yes I caught some fireflies too!
hahah but too bad at the end it somehow landed in the cousin's hands and I was unable to bring it back home to see it light up my bedroom at night.
=(

Second day, at the beach AGAIN.
But this time, the tide is waaaaay HIGH!
=D
Absolutely wonderful because I dun have to make an effort to purposely lower my body down so that the waves would seem higher and would cover my head, giving me the 'woo!' feeling[only experience this in Singapore].
Lol. I could just sit nonchantly at the shore and whoosh!
The waves would come and make me wet from top to toe in no minutes, although you can imagine the salty water I have swallowed.
I tried the Banana Boat too!(:
Very fun! So I tried it two times with my relatives.
hhaha.. and I fall over the boat three times in total.
The falling part is the most thrilling part, so I purposely lean towards the direction which will eventually cause the boat to overturn.
Wahaha.. and so the rest have to fall into the sea with me too!
Lol no la, I where got that heavy, can control the whole boat.
xD
After that, we went shopping.
I was looking forward to buying more DVDs[mwahahaa]during this trip.
It was undeniably the main motivation of my entire trip here, and when I found out we were going to this different shopping mall we had never been to the last few times, and that there was no pirated DVDs sold there, I was devastated.
=(
hahaha. Really!
Everywhere they are large sophisticated stores and HUGE bookstores and eating places, there is NO WAY pirated DVDs would be stored there.
Seriously. I even took some pictures of how large EACH STORE IS and will post them up in my next post.
So at the end, I didn't buy anything at all.
Aww..
Hhahaha.. sounds like Singaporeans only go for pirated DVDs when they shop in Malaysia.
Lol! Or maybe it's just me or sth.
But still!
Nevermind, shall have my chance when I go to China during Dec!
MWAHAHAHAHA.xD
and buying clothes and accessories too! yay!
=)

P.S.
I'm feeling very neutral right now. I sound high but in fact I'm not.
and why is that?

all about CCAs!
Thursday, November 23, 2006 3:53 PM

As much as I am excited and nervous at the thought of performing on stage tomorrow,
there's this part of me that dreads it very much.

I guess this happens to most of the performers.
We put in a lot of effort and spent a lot of time just for a mere 5 or 10 mins on stage, or even less.
And when it ended, there's this indescribable feeling, a pang of regret that everything is over, although there is relief.
Because it is all over, modern dance would end.
Unless Principal Mushroom-Head wants to allow it to become an official CCA of course.
Yet, if it ends, I would somehow feel that I've lost something.
It's weird cuz to be honest, when I see chinese dance on stage before I joined MD, I was all,'oh okay nice.'
Never really taking THAT much interest.
But this 8-week trail has made me develop a respect for dancing, as a form of art, and also basically an enjoyment.
Every practice in school is much looked forward for, and every reharsals are wholeheartedly participated.
LOL. sounds so serious.
Even if it becomes an actual CCA, I dunno whether I should join or not.
Cuz as you all know, next year is important blah blah and all that, so....
yeah.
hahaha..
-
CLDDS today. Jiayan and I for Xiang Shen.
It was quite okay, not too many problems.
But the play right, yes the WU LIAO RI ZI play, was horrible.
I got so pissed seating at the second row and listening to them that I almost wanted to scold vulgar.
LOL yeah.
But really, even seating in the second row, I can't even hear most of them properly!
Wu Lao Shi spent quite a lot of time practising and practising with them.
But some people, esp. the guys, just refuse to cooperate.
They STAGGER on stage, read their lines in MONOTONE, and look at us EXPRESSION-LESS.
So all the practice and rehersals are a waste of time la!
I sound really fed up but that's because I feel that the LEAST they can do is MAKE AN EFFORT and stop disgracing CLDDS.
I'm not implying all of them.
Just those people who look so reluctant on stage.
It is really embarrassing I tell you.
I even heard someone I know saying that he felt like sleeping at the end of the play.
The play could be exciting, it could be thought-provoking.
But the could-bes are regretfully, all SPOILED by those few people who don't give a damn and has no respect to the teacher.
It is not hard to make a single effort at all, is it?
I seriously don't understand these people.
People like Si Ting, Felicia Heng and Kelmen stayed from 8 in the morning till 2plus in school, just to watch them and make sure evrything goes well, although they have no business to be there at all.
There they are, trying to get them to speak up and put in more energy.
But yet what do they get back in return?
A rude person striding off the stage even before the play has ended and boring expressions that are so dull to the eyes.
Yes I am pissed at their selfish-ness and self-centred-ness.
Hopefully they wake up and put in their best for tomorrow's performance.
That would be nice.(:

End of post.

Harry Potter is back!=D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vr2aUiJcFUA&NR

HARRY POTTER IS BACK guys!=D

And in that trailer, if you have read the comments, this person purposely went to the movie theatre to watch Happy Feet, just to catch that trailer before the movie!
-.-
Crazy.
hahaha..
Although I'm so into harry potter movies and the protagonist himself,
I won't be as dumb as to go watch a movie just to see a less-than-5-minutes trailer of another movie.
Lol. oh well.

OKAY SO ANYWAY!

Tell me. WHA-, WHAT IS THAT???????????0.O

Oh, it is just a picture of daniel radcliffe smooching with Cho Chang.
and oh, what's that sound?
OH! It's the sound of my heart shattering into a godzillion pieces.
....
Well, any fan would I guess, this weird feeling surges up, called Jealousy.
haha.. it hurts to look at that picture for even more than a mere 5 seconds.
LOL. exaggerating?
I am so gonna save my free movie ticket to go watch Harry Potter & The Order Of The Phoenix
at GoldenVillage!
hahaha.. But I think when the smooching scene comes I'll either
1) Take a sudden interest in my Coke and start bending my head real low[to avoid looking at the screen] to drink it
2) Walk out the cinema coolly, coming back later after long toilet break, trying to calm my nerves.
3) Start shouting profanities very disgracefully and claim Daniel Radcliffe is mine like a madwoman.

LOL!
Nahs. I know how I will react, look directly at them without flinching or uttering a sound, not even a gasp.
Challenging, but I will do it.
I can do it, I know I can.
yes. Hopefully there won't be any delayed reaction.
Like, after the movie, I go home and in the middle of the night I wake up and start fretting about the disturbing scene I saw at the cinema.
hahahaha.. okok crap.
I'm kidding la.

Okay, better stop talking about this topic before I cry.
Still, everyone should go see HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX!=D

Today I went to the school hall for Modern Dance and to go through 1st rehersal for Music & Movement.
We got our Modern Dance costumes today.
Mine is a blue leotard, and oh my, the outer black spider-web looking cloth covering 80% of our body is so weird!
It's like connected to our last finger when we put our finger through this hole, and thus when we lift up our hands to do a very nice pose, there are wings beneath us!
Black transparent wings!
And when I lie down to do my movement, some of them are supposed to run around us, and I almost burst out laughing.
Cuz from my lying-down point of view, they seriously look like bats.
hahahaha.. flying around me and all that.
Lol. Really weird.
And it sometimes hinders our movement.
BUT THE WORSE OF IT, IT MADE US SWEAT LIKE HELL.
After one dance, we all look like roasted pigs.
Just felt like tearing it off.
but of course, it's not that bad.
It made quite a nice effect when we do some poses, and on stage it was not bad actually.
Just a little hindering, and hot too.
hahah.. and because I am very amused with it, I started running around flapping my wings and imitating a crow.
LOL.
Sounds lame.
ok so anw, we practised and practised today.
we were all exhausted.
But it was fun, and exciting.
Cuz Miss Shi taught us some new dance moves, which was totally trendy!
hahaha.. and there were some butt-and-boob-shaking too.
Yeah. Not a lot la.
hahaha.. but the dance is very hip hop! yeah!
xD
Hoppefully we can learn that kind of genre next if Principal Mushroom-Head allows Modern Dance to be an official CCA in Zhonghua.
hehe..

One last thing, the last episode of Princess Hours had me wiping my tears constantly!
haha.. I would say I prefer XIN!
Lu is cute but I like Xin!=D
Very touching leh, when he and CaiJing parted.
haha.

Okay that's all! Have Modern Dance 2moro!
aaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

-
12:04 AM

yes, 6a gathering at sentosa today.
=)
People who turned up:
Felicia.
Hui Ting.
Sophia.
Alicia.
Dawn.
Nithiya.
Edwin.
Zheng Xiang.
ZCX.
Justin.

Not much, but okay la.(:
And on msn ytd, I made a bet with justin to see who will be later to reach the meeting place.
And I remembered someone saying confidently,'aiya comfirm is you want what!'
and he came last.
LOl too bad I didn't bring a pink paper bag to cover his head like I promised if he's late.
=(
hahaha..

We met at Vivo instead.
First time there, for me.
And yes, everything seemed so ex!
haiz. Only rich people like alan or lingyu will go there.
haha so anw, surprise surprise!
We saw some zhonghua people there.
Small world, like boon hao said.
haha.. So while waiting for JUSTIN *uhem*, we girls went arnd to find food cuz sophia was hungry.
But it turns out The ChickenRice Place serves a plate of chicken rice for what, 5plus dollars?
Lol so she had to settle for bread.
aww.. haha..
and what's more, the bread sold in the BreadTalk there wasn't very hygenic.
There were flying ants arnd and some were even crawling on the bread.
=X

When justin finally came *uhem*[Lol okay la],
we set off to sentosa palawang beach!
the trees, the sun and the hunks!
Lol okay minus the hunks.
Lifeguard's a female. And the male lifeguard wore JEANS.
As if he's gonna jump into the sea to save someone in his jeans.
haha.
For some reason, we didn't really want to soak ourselves into the water yet.
And then it suddenly started to drizzle.
So we went to seek shelter.
But while we were walking past this small but cute store situated on the beach itself, the wind mercilessly blew it down!
Like, all the racks, stacked with beach stuff, came tumbling down!
Sunblocks, small bottles of shampoo and soap, bundles of towels, balls, floats, slippers and shoes, shorts and shirts... you know.
and the person tending the shop is like trying to hold back the rack but it was too late.
haha.. so kind us, THE GIRLS, went forward to help them pack everything back.
And really very disappointing to say, the boys went inside the air-conditioned food centre to eat ice kachang.
But whatever. This proves girls are more helpful then guys.
LOL.
Action speaks so much louder than words.

Okay so after doing our good deed[lols],
we went to the food centre to seek shelter and also to eat abit.
Hui Ting, Sophia, Nithiya and me shared a 5 dollars carrot cake!
It was yummy!
And it tempted Alicia, but she can't eat cuz she refused to share salivas.
You know, sharing food=sharing saliva, in a way.
haha and I'm admittedly quite shocked because I remember in primary school,
she has already made a stand, saying she won't share food.
And she has managed to keep it until now!
This has somehow touched me, seriously.
hahaha.. I mean, it's really kinda touching to know that some areas or characteristics of a friend whom you haven been keeping in touch for years, still remains the same.
haha and she can really keep it it for so long!
I SALUTE HER.
hhahaa.. okay okay.
After stuffing our faces, we went to sit below this shelter, next to the food centre, and played Truth Or Dare.
It was the best Truth Or Dare I've ever played.
Hahaha, I love the Dares!
They were so fun!
Hui Ting always was the one being tio-ed, and she likes to choose Dare.
So we made her
1)Compliment the lady who fried us the carrot cake, saying that her carrot cake tasted delicious, to which she replied, translated in english, 'Wah really ar? Don't make me happy leh!'
2)Standing at the entrance of the food centre, bowing and saying,'Welcome' graciously to this angmoh entering.
3) Give a nice plucked flower to the lady mending the drink stall, saying 'Merry Christmas!' at the same time.
4) Telling this fat guy in bright orange shirt how orange colour suits him a lot. To which he replied,'...'
5)Plastering her face right up the glass pane where she is looking directly at a couple eating their lunch, for 10 seconds. They waved hello happily back to that lunatic.
LOL! Totally cool !
Luckily we didn't pissed anybody off.
And in fact, I think that fat guy was secretly glad that he received such a sincere and nice compliment, although he seemed amused and stunned at first.
hahaha..
Lets see what other dares there are.
Dawn had to pinch Justin's cheeks, exclaiming in this act-cute voice,'hao cute worrshs!!!'
LOL! and she even used a tissue to wrap her hand cuz she dun wanna dirty her hands.
hahhaha..
Nithiya had to go stand beside this weird-looking statue, to which was currently being 'admired' by two little kids, and start dancing.
LOL!
Sophia had to pole-dance around this fake trunk!xD
haha Alicia didn't choose Dare, but she made me do this super lame dare!!
Urgh.. haha.
She's evil. She made me put my arms around Zx's shoulder, pat his cheek and say,'Wo de Bao Bei'.
!!!!!!!!!!
Hahahaha, but I was up for any Dare okay! I love dares, except if you ask me to risk my life doing a dare la, then I'll absolutely decline.
Lol and I told Alicia she is so dead if she chooses dare cuz I'm planning on having my revenge.
But she didn't choose dare but truth instead!
EVIL! hahaha.. nvm next time will have chance de.xD
mwahahaha..

And so, after exciting dares and some interesting truths, it was 6plus and we decided to go play in the sea abit.
the guys were'nt being very sporty, made us quite pissed.
because hello? You pay 3 dollars and you dun even wanna touch the water?
ZX got wet though.
hahaha..tads his revenge because he pushed sophia into the water and got her all wet from top to toe.
She even swallowed some salty water.
poor thing.
Haha but she should be glad to see ZX all wet too, although not as drenched as her la.
So played with the waves a little while, then Huiting, Sophia, Nithiya and I went to bath.
And surprise surprise!
I saw Mingli der!
hahaha.. she was der with Xinyi and this girl from basketball.. eh forgot her name, plus another girl whom I dun really know but seen before in Zhonghua.
After bathing, met up with vivien.
Everyone then took the mrt to Bishan to eat dinner except for Hui Ting and I, who stopped at Compasspoint to settle our dinner[because of favourable travel distance back to our house].
And so we parted!

=D
And this concludes our day in/at Sentosa.
Not terrible, not extremely good, but just really nice.
fun too, of course.
Hopefully more people will go the next time, and we can all play lame games like ' Listen carefully. Joe's father died. Did he die?'
LOL. That's what Zx was testing ZCZ, and cuz we knew the trick behind it, and he doesn't, so he's quite mad.
hahaha..Hint is: Listen Carefully.
But still he doesn't get it. Lol.
So ZX has to repeat and repeat until we got so sick of it.
-.- haha..

P.S Edwin remember to send us the nice group photo hor!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
Sunday, November 12, 2006 1:25 PM

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! xD
yea yea I know I know, it's like a bit too late right?
hahaha.. but these photos are too spastic to be passed up! (:
Fyi, the reason I did not go to school that day was because I had this acute pain in my gum!
And it's so so so incredibly pain that I had the urge to bit my tongue and kill myself.
Lol. So I went to see the doc and he said I grew a WISDOM TOOTH
A WISDOM TOOTH! AND ALL ALONG I THOUGHT I WAS JUST HEATY!
-.-
hehehe.. only smart people grow wisdom tooths.
wahahaha.. because their brain cannot store all their expanding wisdom, so there spurt a wisdom tooth!
LOL kk lame.
Apparently, when I when back to school, I found out that zhi yun and lulu had wisdom tooth too!
and two of them sommor!
and they said it was not really pain.
walao.. then mine pain until like that.
I think hor, when their wisdom tooth grew out it hurt like hell budden to save their face they lie to me.

LOL kidding la!
And anyway. doc said I have to wait for the tooth to be fully grown first, then I have to go pay a visit to our good friend the dentist, to have it plucked out by using a knife to lift the piece of flap[gum]above it.
='(
btw, for those who dunno what's a wisdom tooth and stuff like that...
What is Pericorinitis? [woohoo there's even a name for it]

A pericorinitis is an infection around the crown of a tooth that is erupting. It most often occurs in those age 17-21 in cases where the third molars (Wisdom teeth)are coming into the mouth but do not fit all the way. Flabby gum tissue sitting next to or over the back of the half-erupted tooth can get bacteria, food and debris under it and an abscess can form. Typically, the patient cannot open his or her mouth wide and the pain may travel down into the lymph nodes of the neck. The lower wisdom teeth are effected much more frequently than the uppers.
YES IT IS SO TRUE! My throat hurts too because the pain had travelled down to my neck, therefore unabling me to talk much. =( haha..

What will a dentist do?

A dentist will carefully lift the tissue behind the tooth and clean the area out. Sometimes a drop of pus and blood will come out when the flap is lifted. This can afford relief but usually an antibiotic is added as well. (Amoxicillin 500 mg, or erythromycin in case of amoxicillin/penicillin allergy.) The sure cure is to have the tooth removed and this is usually done by oral surgeons. Often teens put the wisdom tooth surgery off and are treated more than once for this infection before they get the idea and call the surgeon. It tends to happen at exam time when stress dampens the immune system a bit. Some of my teen patients have even figured out how to clean under the flap of tissue that covers the back of an erupting lower wisdom tooth themselves with safety pins and various other household tools, but it is not so easy to get down around the side of the tooth where the pus and debris are trapped.

SEE! Too much stress! wahahaha..
Here are some haolloween pictures.
And I may be smiling but I was actually hurting like freaking HELL.
here's my best witch imitation-wicked smile. LOL.

hehehe! Comical dad!

*shrieks* A monster in a convenience store! x

THIS IS WICKED. hahahaa..

Who's afraid of the big bad wolf? Big bad wolf, big bad wolf.

LOL! that's not even a wolf.

HAHAHA SPASTIC !=D

I look like Fiona, shrek's wife.

I tell you, my brother was actually secretly happy that I was in pain.

hahahaha.. see see..

LOL no la.
He's just glad I can finally stop talking for once.
hahaha..

Ridiculous hat=ridiculous face. =D
hey but I was really hurting like ass inside.
Can never imagine. And yes, I was wearing my 2e2 class tee!
and it still fits! haha (:

this is not my fridge[I wish].
NO felicia! No chocolates! BEAR WITH IT!
REN! REN! REN! -.- haha.. very tempting!!!!

Today's Bio SPA was fine. We were asked to test three urine samples with different concentrations.
Sample A, B, and C.
One of them was from a healthy person,
one from a diabetic person,
and the last one from a person haveing kidney deficiency, whose urine contains protein.
Using the benedict and biuret's tests, we are suppose to construct a table and conclude which urine matches with whoose.
And no, the urine are not from an actual human being but was made in a laboratory by the teachers I think. xD
It was quite okay, but I forgot to conclude after drawing the table!
I just went on yakking about why this urine samples matches with this person..
which is what we are supposed to do.. but I forgot to conclude! I think conclusion takes like about 3 marks liddat. =(
Plus, there will be minuses here and there.. aaaaaah!
But I dun think i will fail? yeah hope so.=)
After Bio SPA I went oppo to eat with fiona!
And then it started pouring, so we took shelter at the small CC near zhonghua.
You know that one with the basketball court?
yeah, and cuz the rain was very heavy, and to kill our boredom, we went to watch some old people play this game where they hit a medium-sized white ball with holes with their racket.
So we sat there and watch them although we did not book the court, which we later found out was 5 dollars for 1 full hour.
I took a few pictures of the old people, in my hp.
Not that old as in 70+,80+ la.. like elderly.
And they were full of energy and vitality!
very healthy elderlys.
They played until around 12plus, then they started to pack and leave.
Fiona and I borrowed rackets and the ball from this old man dressed in white from top to toe, whom we found out was actually the coach.
hahahaha.. he was kind and lend us the racket, explaining patiently[I think he likes it] how to hold the racket, all the basic stuff about this sport which is more for the elderly-PickleBall!
And he said it prolongs life!
hehehehe.. I played one game today, does that mean my life is prolonged by 1 day?
LOL ok crap.
So he was evidently quite glad to see us YOUNGSTERS[LOL] taking an interest into this exciting sport which requires quite a lot of stamina and arm strength.
We were quite noob at first la, smacking the ball out of court and failing to make a good pass.
Wahahaha.. and we ran alot, cuz the ball keep flying sideways.
LOL. But slowly we started to get the hang of it and I am proud to say I can make 4 passes without smacking the ball off-court!
haha hey that's good for beginners okay.
Fiona did quite ok too la, although not as good and pro as me.
LOL! Okok kidding. we were both professionals.
hahahaha.. nuts.
We kept perspiring non-stop. Noobies.

haha..

(:
Saturday, November 04, 2006 11:28 AM

HEHEHE.
My apologies for not blogging much these days.
haha, was plain lazy. Holidays are finally here[ok stop cheering xD],
and I still have to go back to school on monday to do Bio 'O' Level SPA!
='(
And also to go back to school for Modern Dance and CLDDS.
But maybe my situation is okay cuz I think other CCAs such as band, would have more back-to-school days than mine. mwahahaha.
Okay..xD
here are some pictures of the tamagochi fiona and I shared, but now mine. hehehe.
His name is Terence Cao.
LOL nahs I'm kidding, terence cao can nv be that cute.
he loses to a digital pet okay.

=D Oh yes, rmb the 'ZHONGHUA LU YUAN BOOK' u all received last week?x)[the cover ppl who are facing their backs to us are from cldds btw. kelmen, siting....]
IT WAS BINDED BY ME!!!!!!!
hahahaha okok not all, but I binded quite a lot ok.
With the help of kelmen, yu ning, jiayan, siting, boon swan, fiona and me!
Cuz they dun have enough CIP hours, so..
But I have enough! I was there just to accompany fiona. haha..
but that's not the point! The point is, we took pains and hard work to bind that book which you immediately cast aside the moment u have it ok!
wahahahaa.. but it's okay. dun feel too guilty. I will do that too. xD

STEP 1-
Using a pen or pencil with a thin tip to unbind the book.

STEP 2-

Slot in the back cover page, after taking out the front cover page.
I had difficulty doing this at first, but after a few times I became a pro !
LOL. Can slot in in 5 seconds approximately ok! xD

STEP 3-
Slot in the front cover page

STEP 4-
heheh. this is the painful part.
hafta press it back so that pages wun slide out.

HAHAHA see poor fiona's thumb! seems quite blur here, but it's really quite red.
[lols I refuse to do te pressing thing cuz it's damn painful. hehehe.. yuning damn suay. he pressed like around more than 30 books? hahahaha. thumb red like hell.xD]

Step 6-
YAY THE BOOK IS DONE!=D

wah see the number of books we binded.
and alot more leh! hahaha.. but the credits mostly go to jiayan, yuning, siting, kelmen and boon swan they all la.
Fiona and I slacked. =X
And anyway, all the hands in the pictures are kelmen's btw.
Lol he wants me to credit him.
yeah Nice hands. haha

Ironic picture, dontcha think?

ASS, Beijing 101 is gonna lose money I'll say. Lol.

And here's junction 8. Stared at this scene for like 10 minutes.
Lol cuz I was there with sophia, zx and edwin. and we dunno what to do next.
So four of us stood there like fools, waiting for sth to happen.
hahaha..
See that two middle-aged woman on the third floor?
tsk tsk. So childish.. haha.

AND LASTLY....

LOL I dunno what movie is that. Huiyun excitedly asked me to take a picture of that postcard when she saw it. xD so I put it here for fun.

=D
Friday, November 03, 2006 5:28 PM

HA HA HA HA HA.
While I am sitting here smugly in my air-conditioned room, those who did not have enough CIP hours are sweating it out under the hot weather and haze of Singapore!
LOL. This explains why there's no 3e5 people online.
xD Muahahaha.. Okok should not laugh,
at least they are doing their part to help the least fortunate.
They should feel GLAD.
hahahaha.

Went to the lab for chemistry.
Could not dissolve the white ppt in excess NaOH for zinc solution.
SoI asked Wai Hern," hey can you dissolve zinc?"
He replied," yeah. Just add in alot of NaOH lor"
So I use my dropper to suck up a whole lot of sodium hydroxide and dumped it nonchalantly into my test-tube.
And it still doesn't dissolve. -.-
Something wrong with my experimental technique.
Chemistry just doesn't like me.

=(
boo.

Anw, LuLu's sense of humor is killing me.
I think I will die of laughter halfway through class and never get to enjoy the rest of the holidays.
Lol.
Frankly, I needed the laugh. Although I have seem to sort out my thinking and got to realise something that I should have realised long ago, it feels real good to laugh my heart out once again, after such a long period of time.
Laughter is the best medicine after all.
No scratch that. Lulu is my best medicine.
Wahahah no lar, dun want to praise her, later she come chou mei to me.
hahaha.. Just wanna thank her, although I know she don't read blogs, esp. mine of course, for making lessons less boring and lifting my spirits again which I thought was already dead.
(:

P.S. Boon Hao is a nutcase. He tells me that there is a 2e2 gathering next friday at Kah Wai's house. A BBQ, he says. And he told me to go spread to all the 2e2 people, and post in the class blog sommor. Huiyun was there.
So I when I saw Wan Zhen and Clarice, I told them. When Ming Kiat and Oswell came to our class during recess to play daidi, I also conveniently told them, in boon hao's presence! And then later Kah Wai told me he did not agree with all this, and it was all boon hao's idea. -.-
It's okay I guess, nerds make mistakes after all.
LOL! OKAY BOON HAO, KIDDING!(:

Teachers are weird. Will further elaborate on another day. :)

But anw, here's one thing: Mr Ong's breath stinks.
LOL. I haven been talking to him at all since sec2, and I dread to anyway.
But today he saw me, fiona and yunjie standing outside the staff room[looking for other teachers], and decided to start talking to yunjie about her CCA, which he is in charge of.
and i was standing at the side, in between yunjie and him[not directly in between, at the side], so when he starts talking, I feel the urge to walk away.
His breath stinks of coffee and some revolting smell.
HAHA. and he asked yunjie, [sth liddat la hor]

" You did not come for the practice last thurday, what happened?"

" I have parent's letter."

"Then why didn't you come find me and pass it to me?"

"can't find you."

"why not? Am I that small?"

And gave one of those perverse smile he has.
HA HA HA. His joke sure is funny.
When he said that, I looked up at him and resisted the urge to laugh.
He also took the chance to lean closer to yunjie when he asked her why is she standing here outside ths staff room instead of go eating when she's not feeling well.
And then ask alot of questions, alot of awkward silences. [which I find funny, dunno why. wanted to laugh out loud so bad, but cannot]
hahaha.

P.S
My throat hurts. Everytime I swallow something or drink water, I feel pain in my throat. So I gave my french fries to fiona today, and chew my food very carefully and slowly. Lol. Too heaty. Must must MUST resist the urge to eat the bar of chocolate in my fridge!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WELCOME:)

you are not alone
I love him all the same

saturday, july 18th, 2009. Michael Jackson, King of Pop
If I were to write this post one week ago I wouldn't have got past the first few lines, without crying so badly. Admittedly, the news of his passing did not bothered, much less saddened me because my impression of him was vague and as a child I wasn;t exposed to any of this songs or videos, just news from the press every now and then. Till a few days after his death. I went on Youtube and before I knew it I was clicking videos after videos, watching and in awe of this man who not only served to entertain, but strived to serve the community with his enormous heart. And as I watched on and knew more, so much more about what he've been through his life, emotions started pouring in. And when I least expected it, tears started to come. I was never his fan, but now I regret not being one. It is not just one of those idol craze or whatever no, it was true sincere admiration for his works and humanitarianism that touched me, that made me look upon him as a role model. Its hard to believe that since the media had portrayed him as some wacko freak, paedophile, child molester..etc. but may I say, BULLSHIT. he is none of that sort. Other than being the greatest entertainer of the time and coming up with the most original dance moves that many stars tried hard (but pale in comparison in my opinion) to imitate, Micheal Jackson shares the love he has, especially to children, to people around him. He was a philanthropist, donating millions of dollars to the record 39 charities he supported, and raising more through his own Heal the World Foundation. He built NeverLand Ranch, complete with amusement parks, fun rides, a place where children dreamed of going for fun and laughter. From young, Michael Jackson had a childhood very different from others, where had to perform at a very young age. When he made mistakes, his father used to beat him, and not only with a belt. To make up for his lost childhood, Michael had always adored children and he himself is somehow like a child trapped in an adult body (watch his documentary, ignore the stupid bastard interviewer who was plain bias and selfish to see that such a nature still exists in a man so great he just had to bring him down. shall not waste time elaborating on this backstabbing ass because he's simply not worth it. If you're interested, watch the documentary Living with Michael Jackson on youtube. I could'nt get past to the last few parts because I got so fed up with his narrow-mindedness and ignorance that I closed the window). So back to the point. Michael Jackson brought orphans to NeverLand, where they play freely in the theme parks and find joy and laughter, which he himself derive more than anyone else' from the happy looks on their faces. Children were invited for sleepovers at his place, because it was safe, secure. But when news of him being a child paedophile arose after being charged by one of the kids who slept in his room, he ended up paying millions of dollars aside from being publicly humiliated and disgraced. because he did nothing disgraceful of that sort. because a few years later the kid owned up that it was his parents who made him to do, succumbed to the temptation of money, something which Micheal Jackson do not lacked. The father was tape-recorded discussing his intention to pursue charges, where he said, "If I go through with this, I win big-time. There's no way I lose. I will get everything I want and they will be destroyed forever ... Michael's career will be over". It was painful. Yet Michael still persisted, years later, in bringing less fortunate children to NeverLand, because that was more important to him. Even though the pain and hurt he had gone through had probably never healed. His strength is one of the reasons why I admire him so much. Then there was another incident, this time of him 'dangling' his baby over the window. 'omg he's crazy he wants to throw the baby down!!!!' maybe that's what it seemed like on tv and on papers, but what they didn't show is the crowd of fans below the hotel he's staying, yelling his name and wanting to also see his baby. So Michael showed them his baby, his hands wrapped under his baby's arms so tight and pulled him back as fast as he could. But what did the viewers see? A slowed-down version of him apparently dangling his baby in mid-air like a bad father. Its ignorance if people believed he was going to actually throw his own baby down the building. And at that time, I was one of the ignorant ones. I remembered looking at the pictures on some gossip magazine and felt slightly freaked out. But now I realise how much he loved his children, and how hard he tried to protect them from the media. And again, all these negative press and biasness probably was too overwhelming....how much pain can a person take? we would never know because we're not him, its hard to understand. But maybe all these people will leave him alone now, since he's already gone. I bought The Essential Michael Jackson cd, a compilation of hit songs by him. My dad and I watched his concerts and performances and music videos and we were more than in awe, in fact I think thats an understatement. Newfound respect and admiration for the man who was so creative and original, who dared to do things not commonly seen, creating dance steps while he sang at those times when most singers just stood there and sung. He thought of challenging and exciting music videos where people had never seen the injection of extra footage to create a kind of story. And not to mention those crazy vocals, coordinated dance moves, the famous moonwalk (I never get tired of it) and this amazing 45degree tilt he does which simply blows my mind away. It was all his signature style, the gloves, the crotch-grabbing whatever. Every single performance was done in class and so much more. He was an inspiration to people over the world, different races, and especially to African-Americans. He was an icon and also their pride. I can rattle on and on because there's too many things about him that are truly inspiring and simply awesome but sometimes words just cant fully express it. And yes maybe I do seem a little bias but this is what I truly feel. My only regret is that I have and will never get the chance to attend one of his mind-blowing concerts and be one of those lucky fans who felt the presence of Michael Jackson, the most successful entertainer of all time, the King Of Pop. 'Smile, even though your heart is aching.' This is one of the lyrics from his favourite song 'Smile', written by Charlie Chaplin and was sung during his memorial. I remembered someone said something like this during the memorial, 'Even though we need him here, but I guess God needed him more'. Even though we miss him so much, Heaven is probably the place he needs to be, away from any pain, suffering or cruelty. (rhymes!) He has already achieved so much and left behind a wonderful legecy that will pass down to generations after generations. Thank you Michael.
